Online Counseling for Individuals, Parents & Caregivers

Liz Donohoe Kirichenko, MA, LPC, RPT™ Licensed Professional Counselor Registered Play Therapist™ Perinatal Therapist

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a warm, strengths-based, and affirming therapist serving clients online therapy across Texas through Clover & Bloom Counseling.

I support high-functioning individuals, parents, helpers, therapists, teachers and creatives navigating anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD, OCD and overwhelm, especially during times of transition and growth.

Many of my clients appear to “have it all together” on the outside, yet feel stretched thin, uncertain, or disconnected on the inside.

In our work together, I help you reconnect with your innate strengths, build self-trust, and discover new, more supportive ways of approaching life’s challenges.

With nearly 20 years of experience supporting children and families across both public and private settings in Texas, I bring a deep understanding of development, relationships, and emotional well-being into my practice.

I earned my undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and my master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in 2017.

After becoming a first-time mother in 2020 at the height of the pandemic (does anyone else remember that?) I shifted my career to focus exclusively on supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of motherhood.

I founded Clover & Bloom Counseling in 2022 to provide compassionate, accessible, high-quality online therapy for mothers across Texas.

While we will gently explore life’s stressors and heavier topics, our sessions often include moments of laughter, lightness, and genuine connection. I believe healing happens not only through insight, but also through feeling safe, supported, and human in the process.

Clients often describe me as warm, calming, encouraging, and effective. That last one is important, too.

I practice from a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ affirming perspective. I approach each client with cultural humility and deep respect for your unique history, values, and strengths. I believe that every person is worthy of compassion and capable of meaningful growth with the right balance of support, insight, and encouragement.

At Clover and Bloom Counseling, I offer guidance and support for those navigating:

  • Life transitions +identity shifts regarding motherhood Marriage + Career
  • Pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood
  • Anxiety, mood changes, and overwhelm
  • ADHD and neurodivergence
  • Relationship challenges, loss, or rupture

Credentials & Training

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™)
Perinatal Mental Health Therapist

I have completed advanced training with organizations including Postpartum Support International (PSI), The Gottman Institute, NICABM, The Postpartum Stress Center, and others, with specialized focus on perinatal mental health, OCD, ADHD, trauma-informed care, and child and family systems.

A little bit about Liz:

I am a Myers-Briggs INFP and Enneagram 4-The Artist.

I consider myself both an introvert and and an extrovert.

While I love traveling, chatting and meeting new people, I

value independent time and 1:1 time with close friends and family most. Many of the clients who are drawn to work with me feel the same way.

In my time away from work, you can find me baking, writing, exploring the city, taking fun classes, listening to (arguably too many) non-ficiton audiobooks and being outdoors with my children as much as possible.

Throughout our sessions together you can build insight into your personal strengths, recognize your accomplishments, bolster your self-confidence, set healthier boundaries and become both more kind and more compassionate towards yourself on a daily basis.
