Online Counseling for Individuals, Parents & Caregivers

Liz Donohoe Kirichenko, Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist™, Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, Mother

I am so glad you are here.

I am a strengths-based, warm and affirming therapist for clients across the state of Texas.

At Clover and Bloom Counseling, I support high functioning parents, helpers, therapists, teachers, business owners and creatives seeking to overcome feelings of anxiety, perfectionism, OCD, ADHD, and overwhelm as they evolve and adjust into new roles.

I help my clients recognize and embrace their innate personal strengths and encourage them to see new ways to approach challenging situations.

For close to 20 years, I've expertly supported and guided parents and children in Texas in both the public and private sector.

I earned my two undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and my master's in professional counseling from the nationally recognized Texas State University Graduate Counseling Program in Round Rock and San Marcos, Texas in 2017.

I created my private practice Clover and Bloom Counseling PLLC to support the helpers, caretakers, therapists, teachers, business owners and parents across Texas with compassionate, easy to access, high quality online therapy.

Helping people feel seen, understood and valued for who they truly are brings me a sense of purpose and joy.

Believe it or not, we often laugh and smile in our sessions together.

While we discuss past and present life stressors, heavy topics in therapy, I find ways to bring compassion, a sense of shared humanity, hope and lightheartedness to my sessions with each of my clients.

My clients consistently describe me as warm, encouraging, calming and effective.

I am a compassionate, inclusive, trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who strives to make each person feel welcome and valued for their unique values, personal history, gifts and strengths.

I believe each person is worthy of compassion and thrives with the right blend of support, insight and encouragement. I run my private practice with cultural humility and a gentle, trauma-informed lens.

I offer compassion, insight, and guidance for people going through transitions, such as changing family dynamics, entering parenthood for the first or subsequent time, experiencing increased anxiety or mood changes, ADHD, OCD, and adjusting to the loss or rupture of important relationships.

A little bit about Liz:

I am an INFP on the Myers-Briggs and an Enneagram 4.

I consider myself both an extrovert and an introvert.

While I enjoy spending time at festivals and at events, I most often recharge my energy by spending time independently or 1:1 with close family or friends. Many of the clients who work with me feel the same way.

In my free time you can find me baking, listening to arguably too many  audiobooks, exploring, gardening, taking interesting classes, making and admiring art and being outside in nature with my young children as much as possible.

Throughout our sessions together you can build insight into your personal strengths, recognize your accomplishments, bolster your self-confidence, set healthier boundaries and become more compassionate towards both yourself and others.
